Dwapa POS

Dwapa POS Overview

Dwapa is a point-of-sale and business management platform that helps retail businesses and restaurants manage sales, inventory, daily operations and performance. It is built at SleekTeq Solutions, where I am co-founder and technical lead.

The Problem

Many small businesses rely on manual recordkeeping or disconnected systems, which makes it hard to monitor sales, manage stock and understand how the business is performing.

The Solution

A centralized platform that gives owners better visibility and control over their operations, with workflows for retail counters and for restaurant floors and kitchens.

What I worked on

  • Leading frontend development
  • Contributing to product architecture and planning
  • Translating business requirements into product features
  • Taking part in demos and client conversations

This was a team effort; the list reflects my part in it.

What makes it hard

  • Two businesses, one product

Retail and restaurants share sales and stock concepts but differ sharply in workflow: tables, waiters and kitchen tickets versus a fast checkout.

  • Unreliable connectivity

Shops cannot stop selling when the network drops, which is why offline-first / PWA behavior is part of the product.

  • Speed at the counter

Cashier and waiter screens must be quick and forgiving for people working under pressure.

How a sale moves through Dwapa

Customer Order. A customer orders at the counter, or a waiter takes the order at the table.
